Healthy Double Chocolate Banana Bread

I have been in such a baking and “try new recipes” mood lately, and I can’t complain! I saw this recipe on TikTok and it caught my eye right away. I love brownies, and I thought this recipe would be a healthier version of that with better ingredients and still good texture!

What You’ll Need

  • 3 ripe mashed bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup oil (I used olive oil, you could use avocado oil)
  • 1/4 cup plant milk (I used almond milk)
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 1 & 1/4 cup oat flour (I ground up my old fashioned oats and they worked perfectly!)
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Combine all ingredients together and whisk until completely blended. Top with more chocolate chips and flakes of sea salt
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes, let cool and slice!
