Fall + coffee = the best combination! To start off this year’s Fall coffee series, learn how to make the Starbucks pumpkin cream cold brew at home.
Let’s make the perfect fall drink – Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew
Cool mornings are among us and fall colors are on their way. Let’s savor the season! Made with homemade pumpkin sauce, a cold brew base, Starbucks pumpkin cold foam recipe, and plenty of pumpkin pie spice, this fall drink is about to become your favorite (if it’s not already).
Ingredients You Need
- Heavy Whipping Cream
- 2% Milk
- Vanilla Syrup (Could also use maple syrup)
- Pumpkin Sauce (I made a homemade pumpkin sauce, but you could also use pumpkin puree)
- Pumpkin Pie Spice
- Cold Brew Coffee (I used Stok cold brew, or you could make it at home with my recipe here).
How to Make Pumpkin Cream:
First off, there are three ways you could make the pumpkin cream: in a jar using a hand frother, in a mixing bowl with a hand mixer, or small portions and in a Nespresso frother. I am explaining using the 2nd option.
- Add 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, 1/4 cup 2% milk, 1 tbsp vanilla syrup, 1/4 cup pumpkin sauce, and 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice to large mixing bowl. Blend on medium/high with hand mixer until it thickens. This took me about 5-10 minutes to get the thickness I wanted.
Making the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew:
- Fill a cup with ice, then add your cold brew to your desired level.
- Add some pumpkin cream on top and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice and enjoy!
I should note…
- I believe Starbucks only puts pumpkin pie spice on top and not mixed in with the cream. I didn’t mind it in the cream so the choice is yours!
- The measurements that I shared above made enough for 2-3 PCCB’s so I stored the extra pumpkin cream in a mason jar with a lid in the refrigerator.
Let me know if you enjoy this yummy drink! More to come.
