Making your home a haven for guests and for everyday is something I believe is so important. While you don’t need a perfect home or all the latest gadgets, I think some of them can help in providing some wonderful hospitality. I created this list with beautiful, simple, and functional ideas of items that will actually be used (I use most of these in my own home!)
10 Thoughtful Kitchen and Home Gift Ideas
1. Coffee Maker
I truly don’t think a house is a home without fresh coffee. This Nespresso is our favorite (love the slim size and sleek design), with these affordable coffee pods. If you’re looking for a standard, but well-made coffee maker to gift, you can’t go wrong with this one. I don’t think you can ever go wrong with gifting someone a new coffee mug as well. A personalized one like this one is always such a sweet touch, and they can use it year-round.
2. Hand Vacuum
I cannot stress it enough, I think everyone needs a hand vacuum in their home! If you know someone with pets, this especially would be a good gift. But it is great for those hard to reach places, for quick clean-ups of dirt and dust, and it’s very compact.
3. Glass Jars
This is something I wouldn’t have ever bought for myself, but I’m so glad I have them. Gift these glass jars (or this size) for someone who loves to have their kitchen counters organized, or maybe that’s even yourself. 😉 This set would be nice, too.
4. Dutch Oven
Another thoughtful gift idea for someone who loves hosting, cooking, or the experience of them both. A dutch oven is an essential for both slow living and slow cooking.
5. Wood Coasters
A nice, cozy addition to anyone’s home. We use this coaster set daily and they have held up flawlessly!
6. Wine Glasses
Solid reviews and a stunning style of wine glass. This 4 pack of wine glasses is a no-brainer gift idea!
7. Stoneware Mini Bowls
I promise, these will get used. This set of mini bowls is one of our most-used kitchen items. So many uses!
8. Glass Soap Dispensers
A kitchen sink essential. These glass soap dispensers are neutral and look great in any space. Our labels are still in-tact a year later, too!
9. Electric Wax Warmer
Super cozy, morning or night. Removes flame hazard, but still creates a warm and inviting look. This one is fully in stock and so cute!
10. Cookbook
Last but certainly not least, a good cookbook. There is nothing better than trying a new recipe from a cookbook, and even better, when you can do it with those you love. Love this one!
